Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Mint and Pineapple

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and pineapple chunks. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint and pineapple to release their juices and flavors. Be careful not to shred the mint leaves too much.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice and Sugar

Pour in the lime juice and add the sugar to the muddled mixture. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. 3

    Mix in the Rum

Add the white rum to the glass or shaker. Stir well to incorporate the rum with the muddled pineapple and mint mixture.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Glass

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. Then pour the muddled mixture over the ice, ensuring to include some of the solid pieces of pineapple and mint.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Slowly pour the club soda over the top of the mixture in the glass, allowing it to mix gently without stirring too vigorously.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish your Pineapple Mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of pineapple on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately with a straw.
