Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

Toppings Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Toppings

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a slice of tomato, then the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Add pickles, ketchup, and mustard to taste, then cover with the top half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 8

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove fries and drain on paper towels.

  4. 10

    Season the Fries

Sprinkle the hot fries with salt while they are still hot for the best flavor.
