Cauliflower Bites
Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Preparation of Cauliflower Bites
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) to ensure it's hot enough to make the cauliflower crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into small florets, about 1-2 inches in size.
- 3
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Place the coated cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Once baked, remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss it in buffalo sauce until well coated.
Preparation of Blue Cheese Dressing
- 7
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Blend Until Smooth
Use a fork to mash the blue cheese into the mixture until well combined, or blend in a food processor for a smoother dressing.
- 9
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Refrigerate until serving.
