Quiche Ingredients

Method

Quiche Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Onions

Slice the red onion, yellow onion, green onion, leek, and shallot thinly.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Onions

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add all the sliced onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Mix the Custard

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  5. 5

    Add Fillings

Stir in the sautéed onions, roasted tomatoes, and crumbled goat cheese into the egg mixture.

  6. 6

    Fill the Pie Crust

Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.

  7. 7

    Bake the Quiche

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is slightly golden.

  8. 8

    Cool and Serve

Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
