Mac and Cheese with Lobster

Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

3

Add the Cheeses

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth.

4

Combine Everything

Add the cooked macaroni and lobster meat to the cheese sauce. Stir until well combined.

5

Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly on top.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
