Fried Salmon Bites

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches each.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix with the milk.

  3. 3

    Combine and Coat

Dip each salmon piece first into the egg mixture, then coat it with the flour mixture until fully covered.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it's hot but not smoking.

  5. 5

    Fry the Bites

Carefully add the coated salmon pieces to the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the fried salmon bites from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
