    Combine Dry Ingredients

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

    In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully blended.

    Combine and Mix

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.

Cooking Pancakes

    Heat the Pan

    Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.

    Cook the Pancakes

    Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serving

    Stack the pancakes on a plate, top with sliced strawberries, and add whipped cream to taste. Serve immediately.
