Croutons Preparation

Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the baguette into small cubes until you have about 2 cups worth.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned baguette cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally. Set aside to cool.
Salad Assembly

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.

Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the romaine lettuce.

Once the croutons are cooled, add them to the salad bowl with the romaine and parmesan.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, and black pepper until smooth.
