Method

Sparkling Mineral Water

1

Chill and open

Ensure the Topo Chico bottle or can is well chilled (ideally 38–45°F / 3–7°C). Hold the bottle/can upright and open carefully to preserve carbonation.

2

Pour the chilled Topo Chico gently into your highball glass or serve directly in the chilled bottle. Pouring down the side of the glass will help retain more fizz.

Garnish (optional)

3

If using ice: add 3–4 ice cubes to the glass before pouring or after, depending on preference. Note: ice will dilute the water slightly as it melts.

4

For a citrus accent, squeeze the lime wedge lightly over the Topo Chico and drop the wedge into the glass or rest it on the rim.

5

For an herbal accent, clap the mint sprig between your hands to release aromas and place it on top of the drink or tuck it along the glass interior.

6

Serve immediately while bubbly.

Serving notes

7

Topo Chico is traditionally enjoyed very cold and unadorned. Use garnishes only if you want subtle flavor/aroma variations. Re-cork or reseal any unused portion and refrigerate to preserve carbonation.
