Method
Prepare glass & ingredients
- 1
Chill and measure
Chill a large wine glass or spritz glass in the freezer for 5β10 minutes or fill it with ice while preparing ingredients. Measure out elderflower liqueur, Prosecco, lemon juice, and chilled club soda.
- 2
If using whole lemons, roll one on the counter to loosen juices, then cut and squeeze to obtain 1/2 oz (about 1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice. Strain seeds.
Build the Spritz
Garnish & serve
- 8
Lightly clap 2 of the mint leaves between your palms to bruise them and release aroma, then tuck them into the drink near the rim so the scent rises as you sip.
- 9
Float the remaining mint leaf on top for presentation and add a lemon wheel or twist on the rim.
- 10
Serve immediately while chilled. Optionally provide a small spoon or straw for gentle stirring before drinking.
