Prepare the Pears

Wash and peel the fresh pears. Cut them in half and remove the seeds.

Make the Syrup

In a saucepan, combine the sugar and lemon juice with 100 ml of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a gentle simmer and add the cinnamon stick. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

In a suitable container, add the halved pears and pour the syrup over them. Add the R. Jelinek Pear Williams Brandy, ensuring the pears are fully submerged.

Infusion

Seal the container and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours, allowing the flavors to meld. For best results, let it steep for up to a week.
