Grilled Lemons

Method

Salmon Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well. Add the salmon fillets, ensuring they are coated evenly. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Prepare your grill for medium-high heat, approximately 375°F (190°C).

Asparagus Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Asparagus

Wash the asparagus spears under cold water. Trim the woody ends off and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

Grill Everything

  1. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Place the prepared asparagus on the grill next to the salmon. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and have grill marks.

  3. 6

    Grill the Lemons

Cut the lemons in half and place them cut-side down on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until they are caramelized and have grill marks.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate and Serve

Once everything is grilled, plate the salmon fillets alongside the grilled asparagus. Squeeze the grilled lemon halves over the salmon for added flavor. Serve immediately.
