Prepare the Salad Base

Chop the Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large mixing bowl.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Add the cornbread croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese to the bowl with the chopped romaine. Toss gently to combine.
Make the Caesar Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a blender or food processor, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic cloves, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy fillets, salt, and black pepper.

Blend the Dressing
Blend the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if desired.
Cook the Protein

Grill Chicken (if using)
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing.

Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
