Cook the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until they start to become translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the mushrooms and peppers, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Cooking the Beef
- 3
Cook the Wagyu Beef
In the same skillet with the cooked vegetables, push the veggies to the side and add the sliced American Wagyu beef. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
Assembling the Cheesesteak
- 4
Melt the Cheese
Once the beef is cooked, place the slices of white American cheese on top of the beef mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- 5
Prepare the Rolls
While the cheese is melting, slice the hoagie rolls open. If desired, you can lightly toast them on a separate skillet or in a toaster for added texture.
- 6
Assemble the Cheesesteak
Once the cheese has melted, carefully spoon the beef and vegetable mixture into the toasted hoagie rolls. Serve immediately, enjoying the rich flavors of the American Wagyu cheesesteak.
