Buffalo Sauce
Optional Dipping Sauces
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Cooking
- 2
Bake the Wings
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- 3
Make the Buffalo Sauce
While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir until combined and heated through. Remove from heat.
- 4
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
