Prepare the Filling

Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or chicken. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Seasoning
Add the taco seasoning to the cooked meat along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Assemble the Burritos

Prepare Tortillas
Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for about 20 seconds, until pliable.

Fill Tortillas
Spoon a portion of the seasoned meat mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and a dollop of sour cream.

Roll the Burritos
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling completely.
