Chocolate Drizzle Ingredients
Method
Chocolate Drizzle Preparation
- 1
Melt the Chocolate
In a medium-sized heatproof bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Set the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) ensuring the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. Stir gently until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
Once the chocolate is melted, remove the bowl from heat. Add in the heavy cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
- 3
Cool the Drizzle
Let the chocolate drizzle cool slightly at room temperature before using. If using for desserts, ensure it’s still pourable but not too hot to avoid melting toppings.
- 4
Serve
Use immediately to drizzle over desserts such as ice cream, cakes, or brownies. Alternatively, you can store the chocolate drizzle in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
