Prepare the glass
Fill a copper mug or a highball glass with ice cubes to chill.

Mix the ingredients
In a separate shaker, combine the Irish whiskey, fresh lime juice, and a few mint leaves. Shake well.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice. Top off with ginger beer.
