Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tuna
Season the yellowfin tuna with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side until the outside is browned but the inside is rare. Remove from heat and let it rest.
- 2
Prepare the Fruits
While the tuna rests, peel and dice the mango and avocado into bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together cilantro ginger dressing ingredients until well combined. (You can use store-bought or make your own with fresh cilantro, ginger, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.)
- 4
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the mango, avocado, and peanuts. Slice the seared tuna into thin strips and add it to the bowl. Drizzle with the cilantro ginger dressing and toss gently to combine.
- 5
Serve
Top with crispy gyoza strips for added crunch and garnish with additional cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.
