Hot Wings
Creamy Blue Cheese Dip
Method
Hot Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and season with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Bake the Wings
Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the Frank's hot sauce and garlic powder. Mix well until heated through, then remove from the heat.
- 4
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are baked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss the wings until they are well coated in the sauce.
Creamy Blue Cheese Dip
- 5
Combine the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the blue cheese crumbles, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 6
Mix Until Smooth
Use a fork or a whisk to mix the ingredients together until well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if necessary.
- 7
Chill and Serve
Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Serve the creamy blue cheese dip alongside the hot wings.
