For the Spicy Aioli

Method

Chicken Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Flavors

Stir in soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, and Szechuan peppercorns. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sweet Soy Ginger Glaze Preparation

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Stir well to combine.

  2. 4

    Cook the Glaze

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Spicy Aioli Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix the Aioli

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Wraps

To assemble, take a butter lettuce leaf and spoon some of the chicken filling into the center. Drizzle with sweet soy ginger glaze, add crispy wonton strips, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

  2. 7

    Serve with Aioli

Serve the wraps with a side of spicy aioli for dipping.
