Steak and Rolls
Dipping Sauce
Method
Preparing the Steak
- 1
Sear the Steak
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced beef steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Once the oil is hot, add the steak slices in batches, searing for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 2
Making the Dipping Sauce
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well to mix all ingredients.
- 4
Heat the Sauce
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to let the flavors meld.
Assembling the Mini Steak French Dips
- 5
Fill the Rolls
Take the seared steak slices and fill each half of the French rolls generously with the beef.
- 6
Serve with Sauce
Arrange the filled rolls onto a serving platter. Serve alongside the warm dipping sauce in small bowls for dipping.
