Peach Preparation

Brulee Topping

Method

Peach Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Peaches

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the fresh peaches in half, remove the pits, and place them cut side up in a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Add Sugar and Bourbon

Sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over the peach halves. Drizzle Makers Mark bourbon over the sugar-coated peaches. Dot each peach with butter.

  3. 3

    Bake the Peaches

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the sugar has melted.

Brulee Topping

  1. 4

    Prepare the Topping

In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until just simmering, then remove from heat.

  2. 5

    Add Brown Sugar

Stir in brown sugar until fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

  3. 6

    Finish the Dish

Remove the baked peaches from the oven. Pour the cream mixture over the baked peaches. Use a kitchen torch to carefully caramelize the topping until it's golden brown and bubbly.
