Truffle Beurre Blanc Sauce

Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Ravioli Preparation

  1. 2

    Cook the Ravioli

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Cook the cheese ravioli according to package instructions, typically 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prawn Preparation

  1. 3

    Sauté the Prawns

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Truffle Beurre Blanc Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine white wine and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and reduce by half. Gradually whisk in cold butter until melted and emulsified. Stir in truffle oil, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

On a large serving platter, arrange sliced grilled steak, cooked ravioli, and sautéed prawns. Drizzle with truffle beurre blanc sauce. Garnish with crispy fried onions and grated grana padano.
