Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by washing the red potatoes and corn under cold water. Cut the corn into halves or thirds for easier eating.

  2. 2

    Boil the Eggs

Place the large eggs in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover and turn off the heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large pot, add the red potatoes and enough water to cover them. Add salt to taste. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15 minutes until fork-tender.

  2. 4

    Add Corn and Sausage

Once the potatoes are tender, add the corn and andouille sausage to the pot. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the corn is bright yellow and the sausage is heated through.

  3. 5

    Add Seafood

Gently add the snow crab legs and shrimp into the pot. Sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Dish

Once everything is cooked, carefully drain the contents of the pot. Arrange the crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes on a large serving platter. Cut the hardboiled eggs in half and place them on the platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the entire dish for added flavor.
