Method

Crab & Shrimp Dip

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, cooked crab meat, chopped shrimp, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Mix Well

Using a hand mixer or a spatula, mix the ingredients until creamy and well combined.

  3. 3

    Serve

Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Great Balls of Fire

  1. 4

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked Italian sausage, and stir until well combined.

  2. 5

    Stuff the Jalapeños

Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them generously.

  3. 6

    Breading the Balls

In a bowl, beat the egg. Dip each stuffed jalapeño in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with bread crumbs.

  4. 7

    Fry the Balls

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Fry the coated jalapeños until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  5. 8

    Serve

Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Crispy Calamari

  1. 9

    Prepare the Coating

In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 10

    Coat the Calamari

Dredge the calamari rings in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

  3. 11

    Fry the Calamari

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the calamari in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.

  4. 12

    Serve

Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

Tortilla Chips

  1. 13

    Serve

Place the tortilla chips in a serving bowl.
