Method

Crab Cakes

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onion. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Cakes

Shape the mixture into small patties (about 2 inches wide) and place them on a plate.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cakes

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp

  1. 4

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the large shrimp, leaving the tails on. Slice the jalapeños in half and remove seeds.

  2. 5

    Stuff the Shrimp

Fill each shrimp with seafood stuffing and a piece of jalapeño.

  3. 6

    Wrap with Bacon

Wrap each stuffed shrimp with half a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.

  4. 7

    Cook the Shrimp

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

  5. 8

    Prepare Lemon Butter

Melt butter and mix with lemon juice. Drizzle over the cooked shrimp just before serving.

Fried Fish Fillet

  1. 9

    Prepare the Fish

Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.

  2. 10

    Dredge the Fish

First, coat the fillets in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 11

    Fry the Fish

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the fillets for about 4-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Popcorn Shrimp

  1. 12

    Prepare the Shrimp

Pat the small shrimp dry with paper towels. Set up a dredging station with flour, cornstarch, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.

  2. 13

    Dredge the Shrimp

Coat the shrimp in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and finally coat with a mixture of cornstarch and breadcrumbs.

  3. 14

    Fry the Shrimp

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the popcorn shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Fries and Coleslaw

  1. 15

    Cook the Fries

Prepare frozen fries according to package directions, usually baking or frying until golden and crispy.

  2. 16

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.

  3. 17

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
