Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain, cool, and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Cheese

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

Dice the tomatoes, slice the jalapeños, and chop the cilantro. Drain and rinse the black beans and roasted corn.

Assembling the Nachos

  1. 4

    Layer the Tortilla Chips

Spread a generous layer of tortilla chips on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter.

  2. 5

    Add the Cheese Mixture

Spoon the crab and cream cheese mixture evenly over the chips. Sprinkle the remaining Monterey Jack cheese on top.

  3. 6

    Add Shrimp

Distribute the cooked shrimp evenly over the nachos.

  4. 7

    Bake the Nachos

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the nachos for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finishing Touches

  1. 8

    Add Toppings

Remove nachos from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, roasted corn, black beans, sliced jalapeños, and crumbled Cotija cheese.

  2. 9

    Serve with Salsa

Drizzle the roasted salsa verde over the top and garnish with fresh cilantro.
