Method
Chicken Tenders

Prepare Chicken
Cut chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

Set Up Breading Station
In a shallow bowl, place flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Bread Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Fry Chicken
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken strips in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

Soak Potatoes
Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.

Fry Potatoes
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the potato strips until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Prepare Vegetables
Shred the cabbage and grate the carrot.

Mix Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Combine
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrot with the dressing. Toss well to coat.
Hush Puppies

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fry Hush Puppies
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the hush puppy batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
