Method
Cheesy Mozzarella Sticks
Prepare the Cheese Sticks
Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
Bread the Cheese Sticks
Roll each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in egg, and coat in bread crumbs. Repeat for all sticks.
Fry the Cheese Sticks
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry cheese sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Popcorn Shrimp
Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Fry the Shrimp
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Crispy Fish Fingers
Prepare the Fish
Cut fish fillets into finger-sized pieces. Pat dry with paper towels.
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs mixed with lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Bread the Fish Fingers
Coat each fish piece in flour, dip in egg, and then coat in bread crumbs. Repeat for all fish pieces.
Fry the Fish Fingers
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry fish fingers in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
