Flatbread Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that the flatbreads will cook evenly.
- 2
Prepare Flatbread Base
Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the flatbreads for added flavor.
- 3
Spread Pesto
Evenly spread the pesto sauce on each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 4
Add Tomatoes
Slice the fresh tomatoes and arrange them evenly over the pesto-covered flatbreads.
- 5
Add Mozzarella
Tear the fresh mozzarella cheese into smaller pieces and scatter them on top of the tomatoes.
- 6
Sprinkle Parmesan
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the entire flatbread for an extra cheesy flavor.
- 7
Season
Lightly season with salt to taste. You can also add a little more olive oil on top if desired.
- 8
Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the flatbread is golden brown.
- 9
Garnish and Serve
Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
