Sausage Mixture

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the sausage mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped fresh sage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.

  2. 2

    Mix the ingredients

Using your hands or a spoon, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined. Be careful not to overwork the meat.

  3. 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a link shape, approximately 3-4 inches long.

  4. 4

    Preheat the griddle

Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat, ensuring it is hot before adding the sausage links.

  5. 5

Place the sausage links on the griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through to an internal temperature of 160°F.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the sausage links from the griddle and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
