Cooking the Ribs

Method

Cook the Ribs

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Baking Dish

Place a rack in a roasting pan and add water to the pan to create steam while the ribs cook.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs bone side down on the rack. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the foil, and brush the ribs with the mango-bourbon barbecue sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
