Cauliflower Wingz

Method

Cauliflower Wingz

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cauliflower

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Wash the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. 3

    Coat the Cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. For extra crunch, you can roll it in breadcrumbs after dipping.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wingz

Place the coated cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over them and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Marinara Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Marinara

In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 6

    Simmer the Sauce

Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 7

    Finish the Sauce

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh basil.
