Method
Prepare the Beef Patty
- 1
Mix the Beef
In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, 0.5 tsp of garlic powder, and 0.5 tsp of onion powder. Mix gently until all ingredients are fully incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
