Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by slicing the smoked tofu into bite-sized cubes. Julienne the bell pepper and carrot into thin strips. Chop the green onions, separating the white parts from the green tops.

  2. 2

    Cook the Noodles

In a large pot of boiling water, cook the Wokashi noodles according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 4-5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, smoked paprika, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili flakes, and brown sugar until well combined. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In a large wok or skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the white parts of the green onions, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Add Tofu and Sauce

Add the smoked tofu cubes to the wok, and pour the sauce over the mixture. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  4. 6

    Combine with Noodles

Add the cooked Wokashi noodles to the wok, tossing everything together until the noodles are heated through and well coated with the sauce and vegetables.

Serving

  1. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the wok from heat. Serve the Smokey Wokashi in bowls, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped fresh cilantro. Enjoy your meal!
