Cooking the Rice

Start by rinsing the wokashi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch.

In a large pot, combine the rinsed wokashi rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet or wok, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and carrot, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.

Add Remaining Vegetables
Add the bell pepper and green peas to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-5 minutes until all vegetables are tender.

Stir in the smoked paprika and liquid smoke, mixing well to coat the vegetables.
