Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame to the pot.

Cook Edamame
Boil the edamame for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender but still firm. You can taste one to check if it's to your liking.

Drain and Season
After boiling, drain the edamame in a colander. Sprinkle 1 tsp of salt over the hot edamame while they are still warm, and toss to coat evenly.

Serve
Transfer the edamame to a serving bowl. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Serve with additional salt on the side if desired.
