The Bix Burger Recipe
As big as the race! 1/2 lb. of all Angus beef patty seasoned and grilled, topped with 2 slices of American cheese, 4 strips of Bacon, lettuce, red onions, 2 slices of tomatoes and served on a toasted Brioche bun.

Preparing the Patty

Season the Beef
In a bowl, combine the Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.

Form the Patty
Shape the seasoned beef into a large patty, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

Flip and Add Cheese
Flip the patty and place the two slices of American cheese on top. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Assembling the Burger

Toast the Bun
Lightly toast the Brioche bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of the bun, place the lettuce leaf followed by the grilled patty with melted cheese. Add the crispy bacon strips, red onion slices, and tomato slices. Finally, top with the other half of the bun.
