Honey Teriyaki Sauce
Method
Preparation of Salmon

Making the Honey Teriyaki Sauce
- 2
Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir well to combine.
- 3
Thicken the Sauce
In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Bring the saucepan mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Gradually whisk in the cornstarch slurry until the sauce thickens, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Grilling the Salmon

Grill the Salmon
Once the grill is ready, place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the honey teriyaki sauce on top of the salmon.
