Heat Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

Fry Tortillas
Once the oil is hot, carefully place one tortilla into the oil. Use a slotted spoon to press the center down to form a bowl shape. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

In each tortilla bowl, start by adding a generous amount of shredded lettuce, followed by the seasoned taco meat, diced tomatoes, green onions, Cheddar Jack cheese, and black olives.
