Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the large button mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set them aside.

Cheese Filling

  1. 3

    Mix the Cheese Filling

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix well until smooth.

  2. 4

    Add Herbs and Seasonings

To the cheese mixture, add the chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, carefully fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure it's well packed.

Topping and Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

  2. 7

    Add Topping to Mushrooms

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top of each stuffed mushroom.

  3. 8

    Bake the Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the topping is golden brown.
