Method

Preparing Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the seasoned steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing French Fries

  1. 3

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into long, thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 4

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

  3. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain and pat the potatoes dry. Fry them in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
