Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into 1/3 lb burger patties.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese is melting, lightly toast the brioche buns on a separate skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Add BBQ Sauce

Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun.

  3. 8

    Layer the Burger

Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top of the BBQ sauce. Add two slices of crispy bacon and a handful of crispy onion straws.

  4. 9

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the toasted brioche bun. Serve immediately.
