Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- 4
Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce in the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
