Preparing the Fish

Rinse the white fish fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Brush the lemon juice mixture over both sides of the fish fillets.
Steaming the Fish

Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to a boil.

Place the seasoned fish fillets in the steamer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.

Cover the pot and steam the fillets for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
Preparing the Topping

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomato, chopped onion, jalapeño, capers, and sliced olives.

Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetable mixture and toss gently to combine.
Serving

Once the fish is cooked, carefully remove it from the steamer and place it on a serving plate.

Spoon the vegetable topping generously over the steamed fish fillets.
