Method

Preparing Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Once hot, cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing Shrimp

  1. 3

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the jumbo shrimp, then pat them dry with paper towels. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Coat the Shrimp

In a bowl, add cornstarch and toss the shrimp until well coated.

  3. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 6

    Fry the Shrimp

Carefully add the coated shrimp to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 7

    Make the Spicy Sauce

In a separate bowl, mix together minced garlic, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice.

  6. 8

    Toss the Shrimp

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried shrimp and spicy sauce. Toss until the shrimp are well coated.

  7. 9

    Garnish

Chop the green onions and sprinkle over the shrimp along with sesame seeds before serving.
