Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaetzle

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaetzle and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the sliced Black Pearl mushrooms and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender.

  3. 3

    Add Kim-chee and Carrots

Stir in the chopped kim-chee and julienned carrots. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the carrots are slightly softened.

  4. 4

    Combine Spaetzle

Add the cooked spaetzle to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

Finish with Scallions and Sesame Seeds

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped scallions. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
