Method

Cooking the Protein

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sirloin

Preheat your broiler. Shape the Angus chopped sirloin into a patty, approximately 1 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Broil the Sirloin

Place the patty on a broiler pan and broil for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

While the sirloin is broiling, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water and cook for about 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Remove and place in ice water for a few minutes to stop the cooking process. Peel and set aside.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Slice the Tomato

Wash the tomato and slice it into even rounds. Set aside for serving.

  2. 5

    Cook the Mixed Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the mixed vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 6

    Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss well to coat.

Plating

  1. 7

    Serve the Protein Plate

On a large plate, arrange the broiled sirloin, soft-boiled eggs, sliced tomato, sautéed vegetables, and a generous portion of the tossed salad. Enjoy your Protein Plate!
