Steak Marinade

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Steak Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.

  2. 2

Add the steak to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling the Steak

  1. 3

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off.

  3. 5

Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  4. 6

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 7

While the steak is resting, prepare your pita bread by opening each piece to form a pocket.

  2. 8

Fill each pita pocket with a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by the grilled steak strips.

  3. 9

Top the steak with slices of tomato, onion, and pickles.

  4. 10

    Serve immediately while warm.
